Wanted⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ no more!
We've seized a Sur-Ron capable of up to 80mph as it was being ridden along the tow path at Washingborough.
Unfortunately for the rider, who was a 27-year-old man, one of our specialist police motorcycle team was waiting in the wings on the tow path. The bike is worth around £4,000 and will now be crushed as it is completely illegal.
The rider has been reported for riding the Sur-Ron without a licence or insurance.
The local community have said the use of e-bikes and e-scooters is one of their main concerns, so we’ve been patrolling and waiting for just this moment; we will continue to be present and when we can take action, we will.
What matters to you really matters to us. If you have any information about who has illegal electric bikes, or is riding electric scooters in a public place, get in touch. Call 101 or report online
